Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- New Mexico Special Education License required
- NM Level III licensure preferred
- Experience working with students, families, and staff to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Ability to develop a variety of IEP to address: Child Find, Part C to B transitions, elementary to middle school, and high school with post high school transition
- Clear understanding of IDEA regulations, their application, and ability to relate information and program placement to stakeholders
- Ability to conduct IEP meetings in a professional, collaborative, positive, and timely manner
- Be able and willing to resolve problems that arise
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in restricting access to student records and sensitive information
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on job description
