Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
• Secondary Vocational/Technical 7-12 License Required 
• Technology Education Endorsement

 

Vocational Pathway Available for Licensure

• Secondary Vocational Teaching License
• OR Bachelor's Degree including 32 credit hours of vocational-technical training related to the Digital Media Arts area

This teaching position is in the BHS Career and Technical Education (CTE) program with a focus on computer science and other entry level CTE programs of study.  The Production and Managerial Arts and the Media Design and Arts programs of study contain a series of prescribed courses for grades 9-12 that provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the fast paced and demanding Digital Media industry. Our programs of study deliver industry-based instruction that develops student competencies leading to postsecondary education and employment utilizing the latest software applications and industry standard equipment to create dynamic visual presentations. Students may be eligible to obtain certifications and internships.
